Model Upload Guidelines
File Requirements
- Accepted formats: GLB, GLTF, STL, OBJ
- Maximum file size: 100MB per model
- Models must be watertight (no holes in mesh)
- Minimum wall thickness: 1mm for most materials
- Models should be centered at origin (0,0,0)
- Remove any internal hidden geometry
Quality Standards
- Models must be print-ready without modifications
- All surfaces must be manifold
- No inverted normals
- Appropriate polygon count for intended use
- Textures must be embedded or properly referenced
Content Policies
Allowed Content
- Original 3D models you created
- Models based on your own designs
- Public domain or appropriately licensed models
- Functional parts and tools
- Artistic and decorative objects
- Educational models
Prohibited Content
- Copyrighted characters or logos without permission
- Trademarked designs
- Weapons or dangerous items

Pricing & Earnings
Pricing Guidelines
- Set competitive prices based on complexity
- Minimum price: $5.00 per model
- Consider material costs when pricing
- Offer bundle discounts for related models
- Premium pricing for exclusive or complex designs
Commission Structure
- Base commission: 70% of sale price
- Pro subscriber bonus: +10%
- Volume bonus (100+ sales/month): +5%
- Payments processed monthly
- Minimum payout: $50
Intellectual Property
Your Rights
- You retain ownership of your designs
- Non-exclusive license granted to ModelToMake
- You can sell elsewhere simultaneously
- Right to remove models from marketplace
Your Responsibilities
- Ensure you have rights to sell the model
- Respond to IP complaints within 7 days
- Provide proof of ownership if requested
- Respect other creators' intellectual property
